I'm Maddy Aldis-Evans. My website is about my two passions in life - Music and Green Men. Here you will find lists of my compositions and arrangements, information on oboe reed making, some advice if you are thinking of relocating to Germany and some tips on specializing as a second oboist.
In the Green Man pages you will find a complete list of Green Men that I have found in Germany. I intend to cover as much of the country as I can, certainly all the major cities and towns to produce a complete gazetteer of Green Men in Germany - a research that has not yet been done. The logo on these pages is taken from a pastel on slate piece by Marion Aldis.

When not playing in the orchestra or Green Man hunting, I also work asa EFL teacher and German - English translator. I find both of these jobs fulfilling in different ways to playing the oboe. More Information here.
